HOMEMAEDE is a paper goods and home decor studio by designer and artist, Megan Edwards.
The Story Behind the Brand Name
The name is a playful reimagining of “homemade,” celebrating intentional, hands-on making. Maede also carries personal meaning — “Mae” is Megan’s middle name, passed down from her grandmother — making the brand a creative signature rooted in care and connection. It reflects a deep appreciation for the tactile, human process behind each piece and a commitment to making things slowly and thoughtfully.
Maede also refers to a table set with abundance — a symbol of generosity, hospitality, and gathering. Reimagined through a creative lens, it speaks to the act of making as a way to offer something meaningful: objects that invite warmth, spark connection, and help transform everyday spaces into something personal and lived-in.
